What is the difference between a circle and a private community?
A circle is usually a live, scheduled group gathering, while a private community is an ongoing space seekers can return to over time. They serve different needs and often work well together.
A circle, such as a group reading, a workshop, or a spiritual circle, happens at a set time and brings several seekers together for a shared live experience. It has a beginning and an end, and seekers book and pay to attend.
A private community is not tied to a single moment. It is a space you host where seekers can gather, revisit content, and stay connected between sessions, often through a subscription, membership, or paid circle. It supports ongoing relationships rather than one-time events.
Both are different again from the Practitioner Circle, which is the community AudioWakes runs for practitioners. The circles and communities described here are ones you create and run for your own seekers.
